Kathy Bergquist

Kathy works in sculpture and installation, using mild steel and found objects. Relationships between elements of landscape is a central theme in her work. She embraces time’s effects on her works, respecting the lifecycle of everything. Sometimes her sculptures are re-generative (a work may be taken apart and used in a new sculpture,) at other times a piece is allowed to biodegrade or is recycled.
