Sharon Beaucage-Johnson

Sharon is currently working on two works of fiction; one is a novel about a suspicious death on a reservation in northern Ontario, and the second is a series of short stories with a quirky First Nations amateur detective as the protagonist. Her career path has included: radio broadcaster, curriculum developer, employment counsellor, facilitator, and educator. She holds a B.A. (Honours, Native Studies) and is currently completing an M.A. in Canadian Studies and Indigenous Studies.  Her area of research is the portrayal of Indigenous women in contemporary fiction.
